Potion Permit - All Romanceable Characters

Publish date: 2024-09-09

Potion Permit is very similar to Stardew Valley in that players make their way to a small town, and then need to get to know the townspeople while simultaneously helping rebuild things. Along the way, you'll be able to take part in a ton of various activities and meet a slew of townfolks who can help make your journey more exciting.

One part of Potion Permit that many players might be curious about is the romance and relationships portion of the game. Unlike Stardew Valley, which allows you to marry various NPCs, Potion Permit only lets you take part in relationships. However, there are some other differences between the two games, so fans of Stardew Valley will want to get a grip on how romance works in Potion Permit early on.

To help with that, players should take a good look at all the romanceable characters found in Potion Permit to determine which character they want to pursue. Unlike other games of this genre, Potion Permit actually allows players to romance any of the six non-playable characters (NPCs) available as romanceable options.

Players can romance the following characters in Potion Permit:

Each character on the list above requires specific things in the game to progress your relationship with them. Also, players can only be involved in a single romantic relationship, and it cannot be changed. Once you start a relationship, you'll be stuck with that romantic connection for the remainder of the game. Because of that, players should choose their partner carefully.

There is also no option for marriage, as noted above. It's unclear if a future update will add more features to the relationship system in Potion Permit or not. For now, though, players will need to reach level three in Friendship with the selected villagers.

Once that happens, Nova will start selling Moon Broochs at the Silk and Stitch Tailor's. You'll need five Moon Clove to purchase a Moon Brooch. Once purchased, though, you can gift the brooch to the romantic partner that you want to start dating.

From there, it's just a matter of continuing to build your relationship with that character. You can talk with them, give them gifts, and continue building your Friendship Level with them to grow the relationship. Remember that each character has different likes and dislikes, too, so you can use that to your advantage to help determine the best approach when selecting a romantic partner.

Potion Permit is out now on Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation consoles.
