She is hardly the shy and retiring type.

So it's perhaps unsurprising that Charli XCX opted for maximum exposure when she attended Warner Bros' Golden Globes afterparty in LA on Sunday.

The 23 year-old singer was both bra-less and underwear-free at the celebrity-filled bash, which saw her leave very little to the imagination.

Turning heads as she arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the star - whose hit singles include Do It and Boom, Clap! - was clearly feeling body confident.

Wearing a diamante-infused slip dress with a statement choker collar, she shamelessly displayed all of her assets simultaneously.

This was enhanced by the plunging neckline, backless detail and a cheeky slit across the thigh.

Posing up a storm, she wore her hair up in a 90s-inspired style to draw attention on her dress, while sporting plenty of jet-black eye make-up.

She also shunned accessories for a bare decolletage, which added to the dramatic sartorial effect.

Together, the look was a very bold ensemble which is typical of the pop star's approach to fashion and fame.

Charli recently told Huffington Post that she is massively influenced by the Nineties era when it comes to her fashion.

She said: 'Yes, I love the 90s! Platform shoes are a definite keep. Slip dresses as day dresses too. Body glitter 100% yes. To be honest I kind of love all 90s stuff. 'There's good things about everything.

She added that girls should feel confident to wear whatever they want to.

'Just do you! Have fun with it. Make statements that feel right for you. Create a style. Fashion fades but style is forever.'
